Passionate about inclusion. Committed to equity.
The Inclusion Effect was founded on a simple belief: that mission-driven organizations are most powerful when every stakeholder — donor, volunteer, or team member — feels they truly belong.
Born from a commitment to lasting change.
The Inclusion Effect was built for organizations that lead with purpose. Over 15 years across higher education and nonprofit organizations, we have seen what happens when inclusion is treated as a declaration rather than a discipline — and what becomes possible when it isn't.
Our work is grounded in the belief that diversity, equity, and inclusion are not programs to be launched — they are practices to be lived. We have integrated separately operating departments and affinity communities, authored shared language lexicons for belonging, carried DEI work through regional accreditation, and designed programs reaching more than 5,000 constituents.
Every engagement we take on is shaped by your organization's unique context, community, and goals. We pair data and relationship building with the funding strategy that keeps inclusive work alive — because inclusion that outlasts intention requires both the vision and the infrastructure to sustain it.
To provide organizations with the resources and guidance needed to promote progress through intentional strategies of inclusivity that foster optimal opportunities for all.
Inclusion that outlasts intention alone.
Our core values.
Intentionality
Real inclusion doesn't happen by accident. We help organizations move from good intentions to deliberate, measurable action.
Equity
We recognize that equal treatment isn't always equitable. Our strategies account for systemic barriers and work to dismantle them.
Belonging
Diversity gets people in the room. Inclusion keeps them there. Belonging makes them want to stay — and contribute fully.
Sustainability
We build capacity within organizations so that inclusive practices become self-sustaining — supported by the funding strategy and operating structures that keep the work alive.

15+ years in higher education, philanthropy & organizational change
Brandon Kyle, MPA, Ed.D.
Dr. Brandon Kyle has spent more than 15 years building the relationships, strategies, and institutions that help people feel connected, represented, and invested in the communities around them.
His career spans higher education, philanthropy, community engagement, and organizational change. Across those institutions, Brandon has brought independently operating departments and affinity communities around shared strategy, created institutional frameworks for belonging and inclusion, supported equity work through regional accreditation, and developed programs reaching more than 5,000 people.
His work has also demonstrated that social impact and sustainability cannot be separated. Brandon has built philanthropic partnerships ranging from major gifts to multimillion-dollar commitments, developed award-winning engagement initiatives, and helped institutions connect their values to the resources, relationships, and infrastructure necessary to carry them forward.
Brandon earned his Doctor of Education in Organizational Change Leadership from the University of Southern California, grounding his work in an understanding of how people, culture, systems, and institutions actually change.
"I don't believe inclusion is something an institution says. I believe it is something people should be able to experience — in who is heard, what gets funded, how decisions are made, and whether people can see themselves in the future being built."
